Pack of Surprises

African wild dogs are my favorite species to observe on safari because of their complex social lives and high activity levels. It seems like something is always going on as opposed to some other species that are often simply laying around. I had extreme luck when guiding a group to find an absolutely unique situation with the Mapula wild dog pack that would demonstrate in a never before documented way just how hard wired each individual is to support the pack.
